The Ultimate Industry Meet Up

Each year, the team at Tooling U-SME is privileged to host an event that celebrates an astounding show of industry camaraderie and shared commitment to the future of manufacturing. The venue is tuX, our annual gathering of manufacturers passionate about developing a high-performance workforce.
It is an impressive meet up of whip-smart professionals — often competitors — focused on how the development of human capital can bring a valuable return on investment to their organization.
Shoulder to shoulder, this group shares best practices and hashes out what we need to do to get to the next level both at the company level and industry-wide.
There are formal discussions and panels around ways to develop competencies and career progression models, how to sustain performance and drive business results. Just as important, though, are the informal conversations that happen during speed networking or over lunch. (Hear what attendees say.)
Of course, it all starts with a learning culture. This year, we are pleased that Kevin Martin, Chief Research Officer at i4cp, a human capital research and data firm, will join us as the keynote speaker to talk about how to build a learning culture.
A robust culture of learning is a hallmark of organizations that consistently produce the best business results. These companies lead the world’s markets in revenue growth, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Yet, despite this compelling case, fewer than one-third (31%) of organizations surveyed by the Institute for Corporate Productivity report such well-developed learning cultures. We want to raise that percentage.
Now in our sixth year of tuX, we are excited to create an environment where knowledge is shared so generously, leading to performance improvement across the industry.
If you are interested in building your workforce to drive innovation, productivity and profitability, we invite you to join us at tuX in Chicago, May 1-3, 2017. We look forward to connecting you with others on the same path. Take a look at our full lineup of speakers.
