Movable Lesson Pages
Student Feature
3 Stars
The Tooling U lesson pages have a very consistent and standard layout. Would it be helpful if students were able to rearrange layout of the page in any method they preferred? With movable layouts, you can change the text, images, video, navigation controls to any location you like. This is similar to an MSN or Yahoo homepage where you can rearrange the news and information. Any other suggestions on this feature?

It would be very reliable if we could move layouts around on page.

if the were other interactive like programs so that you could do more than read or that and answer questions i think that the site would be more sucsessful in holding young adults attention....and also like me other people have to sometimes see it to understand it better

I think that being able to move the layout of the page would be very helpful. How it is currently arranged I have to move my mouse and scroll the page very frequently. I would really like to rearrange the page to minimize these movements.

OK! The format was an easy layout to use, maybe more 'colors'
would make the lessons livelier. The interactive sections need
updating and improvements. My lessons have helped me on
the job already in my work in the aerospace industry. Bob Ford

I think the current tooling u is right where it needs to be. You start adding too many bells and wistles and people are going to become easily distracted. If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I think that the layout is fine, but the videos could be more specific & give the viewer a better of idea of what the text is talking aobut.

I found the lessons to be very imformative. The only problems that I notice are a few misspellings in the interactives, and the generally non-intuitive methold of navigating the site. I think that the ability to customize the pages to our liking would be a very good idea. H.C.

I think that the layout is good. I don't feel any need to rearrange the screen. I view the pages at 1440x900

I think the layout is ok.

I would like the test questions to be audible.

I agree with the last post about the test questions being audible.

Audible text questions is the best idea I've ever heard. That would open up the learning to more people with learn empearments. Also on a minor note the Interactive portions of the lessons do not close properly fixing this would be a nice little improvement.

Thank you,

After taking the pre-test or the final exam. Is there a way to see the correct answer when you get one wrong??

I think Toolingu is fantastic. Sure more ineractive lessons with more examples, videos and photos would be nice and I think in time they will get around to do that. I like the interactive class at the end of each lessons/class where they are moving and giving life examples.
