Abrasives TrainingAn abrasive is any tool or material that is used to wear away the surface of a workpiece. Abrasive processes are frequently used to produce the final shape of a part and improve its surface finish. Grinding, honing, and lapping are all common abrasive processes.
   These classes will explain all the abrasive processes used to shape and finish parts. The content is for individuals seeking to identify and understand all the various abrasive tools and machines used in the shop.
