Toolingu.com is seeking an Inside Sales Operation Manager to manage the activities of the inside sales staff and establish processes that help this team support the overall activities of the corporate sales team. This person will be responsible for the hiring, training, and management of the various roles of the inside sales team, including customer support, outside sales support, first-touch sales/lead generation, and small business sales. Additionally, the Inside Sales Operation Manager will assess current processes of the team and recommend and implement improvements for existing processes as well as metrics for those processes. |
| General Responsibilities: |
- Hiring and training inside sales team members; assessing the performance of inside sales team members to ensure they meet performance goals.
- Designing and implementing process improvements for the inside sales team that ensure effective lead generation, sales, and customer service.
- Working with the Director of Sales to integrate the activities of the inside sales team with the overall corporate sales team to achieve overall company goals.
- Leveraging existing resources, such as CRMs and company intranet, to streamline inside sales activities; recommending new resources and/or processes to ensure the inside sales team follows industry "best practices" in lead generation, sales, customer retention, and support.
- Periodic reporting to the Director of Sales and other members of senior management to communicate the activities and performance of the inside sales team.

| Qualifications: |
- 5 to 10 years experience supervising an inside sales team. Experience with an e-learning or “B2B” service-oriented company is preferred.
- BS or BA degree in a related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success within an inside sales environment and a history of training and mentoring others.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, speaking, and writing skills with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer skills, internet, email, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of current industry best practices and sales resources. Knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
