Machining Competencies
The map below contains all the relevant competencies that Tooling U offers for the machining industry. Competencies are arranged
by levels to reflect career-pathing opportunities. Students and trainees can begin with fundamental machining topics such as
print reading, math, and safety, and then progress through increasingly advanced training competencies.
Each competency includes a recommended web-based training curriculum, along with the "offline" tasks that the individual would
be expected to complete. Click on an individual competency to see the online classes and offline tasks included.
