You Are Invited to Attend a FREE Online Webcast:

Join us this Thursday, April 20th at 2:00 PM EDT for an online seminar Tool Shop Optimization: Why Technology Is Not Enough.

The tooling industry continues to experience mounting global competition, placing ongoing business and operational challenges on tool shops. When faced with these challenges, a common reaction is to grab for the most immediate solution – be it purchasing a new machine, extending business hours, outsourcing, or adding a new, detached software solution. Despite significant investment in time and money, many of these solutions fail to address the problems at hand, leaving tool shop executives in search for answers.

As an added bonus for attending this event, you will receive a free copy of the new white paper "Tool Shop Optimizations: Why Technology Is Not Enough." In addition, your company will be entered into a drawing to receive a free evaluation of your tool shop processing. This free consultation will include detailed reports and performance benchmarks.

Tooling University Class Update
Tooling University now offers a complete sequence of classes on the GE Fanuc control.

These classes are divided between the CNC lathe and mill. Both sequences use the 0-C control as the basis for screenshots and step-by-step instructions (0M version for the mill, and the 0T version for the lathe).

By taking these classes, students first learn how to power up, home the machine, and enter offsets. More difficult classes focus on activating and executing programs0612, adding programs from various storage methods, and using the editing features of the control.
New Launch of Tooling University CNC Simulators
The GE Fanuc and HAAS classes will incorporate our newest efforts toward interactive learning. Soon, we will be adding an interactive simulation to each CNC control class that allows students to practice and verify step-by-step instructions. Each simulation will include virtual controls, with an interactive panel that allows students to "click through" the various activities. The simulator then verifies that the correct steps have been executed.
