SkillsTrac and Tooling U Partner to Provide Maintenance Training for Dislocated Workers
Tooling U has partnered with SkillsTrac to provide industrial maintenance training to people located in Western Ohio. SkillsTrac
will employ Tooling U's web-based curriculum to teach industrial maintenance theory to its students. This new partnership will
help current manufacturing employees as well as recently dislocated workers who are seeking manufacturing employment.
SkillsTrac chose Tooling U as a training provider partly because Tooling U offered content that supported a stackable training
program. Stackable training provides different levels and hierarchies of training, similar to career pathing. In addition, the
unique advantages of online training will enable SkillsTrac to provide a flexible and self-paced program. According to Toni Neary,
Business Development for Tooling U’s Government and Education Team, "With a stackable program, [SkillsTrac] offer[s] different
levels and hierarchies of training, much more like a career path. We're able to provide them with web-based content that supports
their hands-on lab training at each of these different levels."

Tooling U Tip of the Month
Not sure where to start your training program? Tooling U's Assessment Tests are the perfect tool for analyzing key skills gaps in
your workforce. The test results begin to build a picture of where in the Tooling U curriculum your individual workers should
begin. This helps to eliminate unnecessary classes and keeps your students challenged.
