– Tooling University, a provider of online manufacturing training, has developed a new Spanish interface for all Spanish content. The interface includes all the key features for a student to fully utilize Tooling University classes in Spanish.
Like the English-based classes, all Tooling University Spanish classes contain a rich array of multimedia, easy navigation tools, and a section for the student to take and save notes. The new Spanish interface has been created to complement the growing number of translated Tooling University classes and is a testament to Tooling University’s commitment to the Spanish-speaking market.
The creation of the Spanish interface reflects an increasing Spanish-speaking customer base. Previously, Tooling University had a limited number of Spanish classes presented in an English interface, which served Spanish-speaking students in the United States. “Now that we have expanded our territory into Spanish-speaking countries and ramped up our Spanish translations, the Spanish interface was absolutely necessary,” said Chad Schron, Vice President of Tooling University.
Tooling University subjects already translated in their entirety include: Stamping, Shop Essentials, CNC, Welding, and Metal Cutting, with the Inspection and Safety departments to closely follow. Eventually, every English class will be translated into Spanish. “We will continue to respond to our customer needs and refine our translation efforts as the project moves ahead—we look forward to offering the entire package of Tooling University classes in Spanish," added Schron.
