Tooling U Launches New Government and Education Group to Build Better Workforce Training Solutions

Cleveland, OH – Tooling U has created its new Government and Education Group (GEG) as part of the Business Development Division to serve the growing needs of educational institutions, government entities, and industrial associations involved in workforce development, training and education in the manufacturing sector, announced Bryan Knaack, Tooling U Director of Business Development.

"Manufacturers recognize the importance of a well educated workforce, but successfully training the workforce demands cooperation between employers, government and the education sector. We see our responsibility to facilitate communication between these groups," said Knaack.

The Government and Education Group at Tooling U will provide advice to educational institutions on how to build effective blended learning initiatives that foster improved workforce knowledge and effectiveness. In addition, the Government and Education Group will offer the latest training programs for instructors and educators, and will partner with educational institutions and industrial associations on grant-funded projects such as Department of Labor and Workforce Development funds.

"Our expertise in government grants and public funding for educational projects will help bring manufacturing associations, the private sector, and public resources together so we may develop the most effective and innovative workforce educational and training solutions," added Knaack.

In addition to Knaack, other key people involved with the new Government and Education Group include Gretchen Schultz, grant coordinator, as well as Toni Neary and Cindy Bernosky, regional managers, business development.
