Cleveland, OH – Toolingu.com, a leading provider of online training for the manufacturing industry, has released additional welding training to enhance its existing
welding curriculum. Toolingu.com's existing training focused primarily on the most common arc welding processes, which use electricity to heat the base metal.
The new training content addresses oxyfuel welding, visual inspection of welds, and plasma cutting.
A range of factors led to the decision to add to Toolingu.com’s welding curriculum. According to Greg Herlevi, Director of Content for Toolingu.com, "Since the release
of the original welding content, we’ve had fairly consistent feedback from our customers asking for additional material. We also made sure we consulted [American
Welding Society] standards to fill any existing gaps." The American Welding Society (AWS) is an industry-recognized non-profit organization created to advance the
science, technology, and application of welding.
Toolingu.com offers training packages for machinists, maintenance professionals, welders, and assemblers, as well as custom-created training material for Fortune
500 manufacturers. For more information about Toolingu.com, visit www.toolingu.com or contact
