Test Description:The assessment for CNC mill operators tests for an understanding of CNC coordinate systems and offsets, basic G code programming, part inspection, print reading, and cutting tool theory. This assessment also addresses machine setup and setup reduction practices. Test questions are based on class material from the CNC, inspection, materials, metal cutting, quality, safety, shop mathematics/print reading, and workholding departments.
