Test Description:The assessment for production/manufacturing engineers tests for a broad knowledge of machine tool operations and manufacturing processes, workpiece material properties, tool maintenance, workholding setups, and OSHA safety regulations. This assessment also addresses lean initiatives, cell design, and process improvement methods. Test questions are based on class material from the abrasives, CNC, EDM, fasteners, inspection, manual machining, materials, metal cutting, quality, safety, shop mathematics/print reading, stamping, welding, and workholding departments.
Test Instructions:This online test requires uninterrupted access to a computer with an Internet connection. For math-related questions, please have paper and pencils on hand for your calculations. Textbooks, calculators, and other electronic devices are NOT allowed.
