tuXperience 2020

It’s tuXperience time. If you want to learn how to fill your worker pipeline and align your training program to maximize your bottom line (and who doesn’t?), then this event is for you.

We invite you to join us June 1-3, 2020 at the Omni William Penn Hotel and the nearby David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh. This year, we are excited to be back, co-located with SME’s Smart Manufacturing Experience, a timely event focused on Industry 4.0.

At tuX, we’ll also put an emphasis on digital transformation since many of you ask for help building talent to meet new job roles related to additive manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence and more.

Keynote speaker Jonathan Brill, global futurist and product innovative executive at HP, will share insights on digital manufacturing trends and opportunities.

In addition to the keynote, the event includes technical presentations, and panel discussions that showcase successful solutions and best practices that help fill the worker pipeline, onboard new hires, upskill existing staff and transfer institutional knowledge.

You’ll be able to pursue three tracks:

  • Track 1: Mitigating Challenges and Risks in Deploying a Learning and Development Program
  • Track 2: Consistent On-the-Job Training Drives Competitiveness
  • Track 3: Full Lifecycle Success in Implementing a Tooling U-SME Program

An impressive group of speakers will present on topics such as Standardizing OJT: Streamlining Manufacturing Workforce for Industry 4.0; Using Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality to Train; and Career Pathways Through Competency-Based Training.

Attendees tell us one of the best parts of tuX is having time to network with peers. Discussions – both formal and informal – cover how companies are successfully reducing scrap, increasing production, and preparing for new technology. You’ll leave with solutions!

See what some of your colleagues across the industry have to say about attending tuX. As you’ll hear, it’s an inspiring environment to meet and share ideas with manufacturers, human resources professionals, trainers, and workforce experts, all dedicated to closing the skills gap.

We hope you will join us for tuX 2020. As a bonus, at no extra cost, you’ll also be able to take a Smart Manufacturing Experience Guided Tech Tour, hosted by SME.

We are offering an Early Bird Discount (40%) through March 15, so register now.
