Automation (Motion Control, Robotics) Technician

Automation motion control robotics technicians perform routine maintenance on robotics and automation systems. Automation motion control robotics technicians also troubleshoot and repair problems in the system, often assembling and disassembling components within the system to do so. Automation motion control robotics technicians should be able to read schematics, use hand and power tools and inspection and testing instruments, and understand the components of a system, how those components function, and what tasks are required to keep them in working order.
