Manufacturing is our passion – and has been for more than eight decades. We know the importance of filling the workforce skills gap. We also know how fulfilling careers in manufacturing can be. That’s why we’re deeply involved with instructors and programs to help students discover and excel in manufacturing.
The Tooling U-SME Platinum Education Center awards are presented to educational facilities that serve as models in the manufacturing industry when it comes to developing an outstanding learning culture. Schools are selected based on adoption of technology, dynamic advanced manufacturing programs, strong partnerships with industry in their area, and adoption of Tooling U-SME's online training program, plus strong utilization rates of online training in a blended learning format.
